Logarithms.
Derivatives.
Laws and theory.
Another mess of books.
From another universe.
My nation of one.
Constant torment.
behind the closed covers.
I can never get to.
Once an escape
Now a chore
As I grow older.
Let my mind wander
where nothing is real
pure imagination.
As soon as I get done
With this work
I'll take you on

i like the title of this one.
is the "you" in the last stanza the world? it reminds me of all those "i'll get to that tomorrow"s
the "you" is getting to that pile of books and getting into the pleasure reading and poetry that I enjoy rather than doing stupid physics and other nonsense assignments. oh college. but i like that it can be anything. i like to sound broad!!!
